I installed our new computer, and somehow lost a LOT of hard disk space. The hard disk has a capacity of 20 GB. I created a C drive of 2 GB, and wanted to put the rest in different partitions. So, I created an additional partition of 5 GB, found out that you actually have to create one additional partition which you have to devide later, deleted the D-drive and created a new one, now with all the left over space in it.
According to FDISK, it was all fine, drive D was something like 17.5 GB but when I started to format drive D, it formatted only 5 GB. And when I looked in Windows, drive D only showed 2 GB of space (I enabled FAT32).
Any idea what happened to the rest and how to solve this problem?
