Have installed new HD and copied all data across from old drive using DriveCopy. Old drive is slave on Primary channnel with new drive as master.New drive OK.
BIOS says it's there on boot up but nothing in WIN98. HDTACH sees it as well. How can I get WIN98 to see it? Does it have to be FDISKed? I assumed it had an active partition already.(CDR and cdrom on secondary channel.)
Any ideas please?

Many thanks.....John Lowe UK

Yes it will need to be fdisked to be seen by windows, you may also have to have it formatted also.
