    Post HP Printer Problems

When a file starts to print and then prints around 1 page and then starts printing out garbage, what is the problem??? Is it the printer driver that needs updated or reinstalled. I have already reinstalled the printer software that came with my computer. Any other ideas???

    Thanks in advance.

For an HP printer you may need to use the "PS" or Post script driver.( some HP drivers come in twos, the "normal" one and a "PS" one.)
For instance Acrobat reader will print out pages as you have descriped if you don't have the PS driver (or one thats compatiable with post script) installed.

    Hope this helps

This also happens If you have the printer port setting incorrect.
Depending on what printer you have you may need to turn off the advanced features of your LTP1 port in the Bios.
Set it to Normal and see what happens.
