Have a 333Mhz 64 RAM Win98 PC - is on a LAN with 3 printers installed on the PC. Have tried installing a new network printer but when I double-click 'Add Printer' icon (Cntl Printer settings), the hour-glass flashes up then stops. It cannot start this function. If I look for the printer through network neighbourhood, I right-click printer and select 'Install' but still the same. Have installed this printer successfully on other PCs. Is there some windows files I need? Printer Install Wizard seems to have gone AWOL. Anybody know how I can resolve this? Thanks in advance.....
Fiona.

Yeah, thanks for that Ghost_Hacker - but I had already looked there - the setup.inf and control.inf all look honkey dorey - still no go. Any other clues (besides the old sledgehammer trick??)

Do you use profiles on this computer? If you do you could try deleting this users profile and starting from scratch.Or simply move the profile elsewhere to test the theory.
