Red face NO Display when shutting down Windows.

When you hit start and hit shutdown. The screen that says "You can shutdown computer now" is not there. Anybody have any ideas on this one.

A little more info about your system would be helpful.

If your machine actually shuts down without any problems without displaying the screen then there probably isn't any problem. Some machines just go through the sequnce fast enough that there isn't any time to display the screen before it actually shuts down

    Question

You still have to push the power button to shut it off. The sentence used to be there displayed.

There are a lot of things that could cause the problem. Check Windows Shutdown Troubleshooting.
