Thread: Getting "Normal/Safe Mode" on every boot

Post Getting "Normal/Safe Mode" on every boot

Somehow I have turned on the option of having the screen which allows selection of Normal, Safe Mode, and a 3rd option which escapes me every time the pc is turned on. I thought it was something else when I turned it on. Was thinking the option was selected in msconfig or tweakui, but can't find it in either. Anyone know how to deactivate this?

    Thanks

Run msconfig. On the bottom of the first dialog screen, there should be a button labeled Advanced. Click on that and then uncheck the start menu option on the next screen that pops up.
