    Question no frames

    when I do a search (usually ggogle) I frequently see the message after the replies 'this site uses frames but your browser doesn't support them'

    Frames are a way of breaking the content of a web page up into pieces, if you were to look at the main page of the PC guide you would notice the left hand portion has its own scroll bar, that is one frame, the right hand side is another. Most browsers these days support frames (a couple don't)....

    I have no problem viewing frames, just keep getting told that my browser doesn't support them !

    When you use Google the "answers" will display snippets of the web page. So what your seeing is part of the web page that displays a "frames" error. It has nothing to do with you, it's just part of that page's text.
