    Enabling HTML

    Sorry YODA - and others!

I'm the one who should be detonated

I got right in the end in the Testing Forums, but I've caused some confusion along the way, I'm afraid.

The point is, Yoda, I have got a Windows error message which tells me that I do not have the security authorisation to send HTML messages and I want to know how best to deal with this?

    Again, my apologies.

    Hi Mitch-
I'm just here for a minute, then headed out again.
I am not positive about this. Are you using Outlook express?

If so, Go to tools/options and in the "send" tab, I think there is an option to send in HTML format.
Sorry If I'm way off base here, just saw you asking and thought I would try to help.
Got to go, but I'm sure YODA, (or someone) will correct me and help you out if I'm wrong.
    Have a great day!

Yes Mitch what Nut said about outlook or outlook express they both have that option if this is the way your trying?

But if your trying it on the forums it won't work becouse you don't have administrative access

enlighten us on how and what exactly your trying might beable to figure it out.(hate trying to read minds)
I can't figure mine out half the time

Are you using OE and do you have it set to "High" in the Security settings?

Also, please try to keep all related items together, ok?

    HTML

    Hi YODA,

    Thanks for getting so promptly.

No, I don't use OE. My mail manager is, dare I say it, Incredimail.

My problem arose when I was going over the latest Langlist mailing and I tried to send a "subscription" Email to a friend, via their link - so it was their Email program and not mine.

As I am sure u know, u have the option of reading the Langalist in an HTML format and I had been doing that earlier, but had swapped back to the plain text version, before I hit this problem!

    What do u think.

PS. Jabar. Thanks and I hope u have a good day too!
