Wink BIOS question - RAM related

    I have a recently installed win2000 pro o/s
    256 sdram (1 stick)
    866 pentium

Does anyone know what this means? I found this in the Bios settings.

    ___________
    OS SELECT FOR DRAM > 64MB | NON-OS2 |
    -----------

What would happen if i changed "NON-OS2" to "OS2"? will it help my system run better?

    thanx

Only if you want to install the now-defunct or at least abandoned OS/2 Warp operating system.

It required different/special settings for maximum performance.

Your present setup is correct the way it is.

Made enough mistakes for any two people. Learned a lot just getting myself out of trouble.
