Thread: System Hysteresis

  1. #1

    Cool System Hysteresis

I'm trying to get my new system to run a little cooler and noticed something on my system monitor software called "system hysteresis." Its a temp value, below the CPU and system overheat temps. I looked for a quite a but and it seems that the word hysteresis means: The lagging of an effect behind its cause. How does that apply to a CPU? Does that mean that ablove/below that temp it's delaying things?

    Thanks

    John
