Help to start using BiNG. Some stuff about Boot CDs & Data Recovery Basics & Back-up using Knoppix.
Windows manage memory OS don’t really matter I try on about 3 computer
Two of then with win 98 and one with win 2000 pro with 256 mb of ram
And when I right click on it I don’t get open with only open
Open your word processing program and browse to the file to open from the program.

VEdit claims to edit files up to 2 gigabytes. You might try downloading and running the trial version.
Thank you everyone for taking your time I will try that VEDIT program
Because I try to open on ms word that did not work I don’t know why in hell they make a txt file 99mb any way god bless you all peace.
What is this Text file, are you sure it is ok and something that you actually need? Anything that comes in an oversized package that you didn't make yourself would make me suspicious. Make sure you have an updated antivirus running when you do open it....
Then again, I am probably just being paranoid...

If the above replies don't solve your need, let me know. I have an old program from my DOS days (when huge files were more of a problem) that will split ANY text file into as many smaller files needed based on the users specified output file length. So, for example, it could give you 99 files that are each approximately 1 meg or about 50 files that are each about 2 meg, etc.
I haven't run that program for some time but I know it will run under WIN95 and, of course, under DOS.
What is the file extension on th file in question?

Is a txt file I will find out today if that program works when I go back to work let you all know later.
The files I have downloaded from the IRS have always been PDF files. If that is the case, you need Adobe's reader program.Originally posted by natcom
