A tip of my Ohio hat to the people of New York for the way they're handling themselves during the power outage. From what I have been seeing on the evening news, they have been very helpful to one another, lending a helpful hand to anyone needing it, and have been handling the situation with real class. Hope that things are up and running at 100% for anyone in New York and any other city whose power is off. I have developed a lot of respect for the people on New York. But, no, I'm not going to start pulling for the New York Yankee baseball team. Being from Ohio, I'm still a Cleveland Indian fan.

Just spoke to my son and he said things as of now are getting back to normal. I sure wish he and his family would move out of the Northeast.
I have not lived there for 4 years and he says that things have not been the same since 9/11.
Sad, Ny is a great city.

Mark--Speaking as a father, I know how you feel about your kids living where they are. My wife and I are very fortunate. Our four kids are all married and the furtherest one away is less then an hours drive. Although, we have a married granddaughter who lives in the state of Washington. But, they are figuring on moving back home in two years. I hope they don't change their mind.
