    Dual Monitor?

Hello there everybody. I just got a new video card that supports dual monitor and don't know what to do with it. I can see the mouse move back and forth from monitor to monitor. I can change which monitor will be the primary monitor but that's about it. Can I use the monitors as separate monitors? Can I run two separate programs, one on each monitor?
Is any of this possible? The video card is: PNY NVIDIA Verto GeForce FX 5200 AGP 128MB DDR.

OK, I have something else to ask. Is there something I can do about the issue with some of these games that change the color resolutions (which over laps to the second monitor and causes the games to be glitchy)? Or will this amount to a trade off?

Hello! You figured out the 1st question very quickly hehe

As for the 2nd question - Its better to run an application or Game etc on ONE monitor.. doesnt matter which but they dont run onto 2 monitors well in my experience. Its really to enable you to do 2 things at the same time. (email on one & a word doc on the other for example.)

Also to get the same colours & resolution on both they would need to be identical monitors. Ortherwise each monitor will have different setting 4 this reason

Hey Inka, thanks for responding. Actually I figured out the second question as well. I realized by un-checking the box that "Extend my Windows desktop onto this monitor" would disable the secondary monitor and then I would be operating on one monitor. So now everything works, I didn't want to have to unplug a monitor just to play game. Thanks, and G'day mate.
