How are Bink videos created?

I downloaded the RAD Video Tools hoping this would allow me to create in-game videos but I guess these tools only allow you to convert already existing video files to Bink files.

But how do you capture in-game videos in the first place? What's a good program?

Don't know if it will do what you want but have a look at the following link and downlaod Cam Studio.

Makes AVI files with and without sound. Has its own player or you can use your default player. full screen and regional settings.
