In accessing any of my emails in Win98(which is through Outlook Express)I get an error message saying "msisn caused an exception c0000006H in module directdb.dll at 018f:019e556c."
The Internet Explorer Repair Tool(as suggested by a tech from my ISP)failed to correct this as did my own use of the Scanreg/ restore procedure.
So what's left to do?

Well, I simply went to Google, printed the instructions and solved the dumb thing on my own which involved renaming the Messages.ods file and some registry change as well!
The only "side effect"(which I quickly corrected)was losing the list of certain Usenet newsgroups I access frequently.
