One of my mates has recently recorded a demo CD with his band. He asked me the other day if it was possible to rip the session to MP3, and then split the entire recording into tracks. I've managed to rip the 645MB CD file down to a more managable 65MB MP3 file, but am now stumped as to how to divide up the MP3 into tracks.

I've got Creative and Soundblaster programs, with my Live soundcard. I think Wavestudio allows you to cut and paste the wave into new files, but this seems a bit longwinded.
