    Motherboard Graphics

Hello, My motherboard has onboard graphics which have become innoperable. I do not have an AGP slot, and I would like someone to tell me if I attach a PCI graphics card will my PC run. Regards, Graham.

It should work, you'll have to find out if you have a jumper on the motherboard, an option in BIOS or both and disable them. Also look for a "Primary Graphics" option in BIOS, or similar, and set that to PCI. A motherboard manual would be really nice to have, it should show what settings are available and hopefully have some good info about those options.
