    A good download manager/accelerator?

    i dont know if im posting this in the right colum, but anyway can anyone recomend a good download manager/ accelerator, because i cant seem to find a good one anywhere

    The download manager in Firefox seems to work ok for me. I abhor the download managers that are adware-related. (Gozilla is an example)

    thanks for the link budfred.

    how come every time i click download on sumthing it downloads it using the windows downloading thing and not my new download manager? Can i change it so that the new downlaod manager automatically downloads everything from now on?

    I imagine there is a setting in Windows to turn off the downloader or to at least give you the option of making something else default... I have always used Netscape and Firefox which automatically use their own downloaders, so I am not sure where to find that setting... I am guessing it is in the Internet Options in Control Panel...
