It is good that you ran that, but it really doesn't show any problems that would be worrisome... You could fix this... It is a registration reminder for various companies that some think may report back about you and it really isn't needed:

    O4 - Startup: PowerReg Scheduler.exe

Otherwise, if you still think you may have a problem.... Try running an MWavScan... It will produce a log in the lower window that has the bad list and you will need to use Ctrl-C to copy it and then paste it here for review.... If the list is extremely long, you can just paste the lines that begin with the word "File" since those are the ones we need to be most concerned about...

    http://www.mwti.net/antivirus/free_utilities.asp

It will suggest that you buy the product to fix what it finds, but that is not necessary... Just post the bad part of the scan and we will deal with it...

Those 'invalid objects' are nothing more than orphaned registry files that aren't associated with anything anymore. They're harmless but you can remove them if you like.

But the one at the top needs to go though I don't see the file path listed so I don't know where it would be on your system. Try running Spybot S&D and AdAware and see if they find it. How to setup AdAware for initial use.
    There's no place like 127.0.0.1

So from what you see there is nothing there that indicates a malware or virus issue that would cause me to freeze in game play [ and still have mouse control] and those random reboots, the other day my wife turned off a light fixture with a 2 lite 40 watt ballast and the instant she threw the switch my computer rebooted and I mean the "instant" I tried to duplicate the incident and it did not.

Could this be a power supply issue ?? memory ?? my mobo is a ASUS A7N8X Deluxe 2.5 years old-this unit has been on all day and hasent rebooted yet.

So is there a "next step" As always thanks

Actually, the "Object" is probably just picking up on a fragment of the original program which is disabled... You could search and see if you can find some reference to it and delete it, but I wouldn't bother... It is an optional anyway as a piece of Kazaa...

I am guessing that you have a hardware problem at this point... From what you describe, it could be related to a power supply problem in your home... I would get a UPS (uninterruptible power supply) and see if that eliminates the problem... Even the cheapest ones will even out the power to your computer...

If you are concerned that there might still be malware, there are deeper scans we can try...

We have 5 other computers in our home and the others do not have an issue---might it be the power supply in the affected unit-------------might this be a memory problem ????

You might want to keep your eye on your cpu temp. A hot chip can cause the symptoms you describe. You might also want to check your ram. Memtest86 is a good ram tester.

Well the plot thickens-------- I tried a different video card--that did nothing I swapped the 3 sticks of memory all over the place with no results, next I will swap the PS , I have a new Antec 400 watt true blue laying around and we will see. I will let you know------------ This MOBO [Asus A7N8X Deluxe] has really been pounded for 2.5 years , that might be an option , fun isnt it.
