    Arrow ABIT K7T-Raid with a T-Bird 1G CPU

Has anybody got this combination and if so, have you had any trouble with it? Does it fly with the eagles, or the squirrels? Without OC'ing.

I looked at this MB and 900 MHz Athlon T-Bird. All the benchmarks I reviewed showed this MB to be a screamer, especially when coupled w/the 1 GHz Athlon. I ended up buying an EPoX MB w/the T-Bird 900 which is pretty fast in it's own right.

One thing to keep in mind is the other components of your system. If your video card is outdated or doesn't have alot of memory, it can slow your system down. Same thing with hard drive and internet connection speed.

    Hi,

I will tell u that according to (pcpitstop) my pc: Ath-T bird@ 800 (751 chip)tests show that out of ALL pc's tested there only 3% were any faster. (Overall score of 405)

and yes!! things like connection speed and other variables matter immensely ( dsl here)

    Thumbs up

Check out anandtech.com. They have a recent review. They give this MB very high marks and have benchmarks with Pentiums and Athlons. Convinced me to abandon my loyalty to Asustek boards for my new PC.
