Yeah, as far as I know that works just fine. The chipset of the vid card matters the most with both SLI and CrossFire. But the brand of the vid card shouldn't matter.

I can save a good 100 dollars on a radeon x1900xtx by a sapphire brand. However, when it comes to crossfire, how will i use it? Is it possible for me to use a crossfire edition from another brand? Something like Connect 3d?
