    It's a disposible printer...a full cartridge set costs more than the printer is worth.

    assuming i replace this printyer,what would you suggest would be a decent replacement

    Lately I have been partial to the Epson printers. They seem to less disposable than other printers.

    I'm partial to both Epsons and the mid to upper HP models...mainly because both not only work well in Windows but in Linux too. Canon and Lexmak are hit or miss for Linux and most often nothing more than basic functions.
