    Lcd monitor became dark


    LCD monitor became dark, no problem with signal from monitor.
    i can see monitors menu and also signal from pc,
    but it is so dark ,that i see all letters with huge effort.
    a have tryed all monitor settings ,on panel, no changes.
    is it dad? or is some hope?

    Make sure it's running at its native resolution and refresh rate.
    If those are ok, then connect it to another system. If the same problem happens there, then it may be bad.

    Could be the backlight.
    Check the user manual to see whether the backlight is easily replaceable.
