Dvd/Cd help

every time i switch to a differnt cd or dvd my computer freezs but it can read thedisc if you restart it but if you put in anothe disk it will just freez so if you could help thanks all i know about my computer is this

Try disabling autorun - noting that you can do this on a one-off basis by holding down the shift key as you insert a CD.
