Thread: Power Supply Extension

    Power Supply Extension

    Hi

Does anyone know whether I can purchase an extension cable for the 8pin Power Cable for a Thermaltake 700w Modular PSU.

My PSU is at the bottom of the case and the 8pin socket is top left of the mobo so the lead only just reaches but has to go across the VGA's, Soundcard and the CPU - and it looks awful thru the window

If anyone knows where I can get one (UK websites only) I'd be grateful.

    Thanks

    Because it's fun?

Why else build your own computer? Why not just buy it and save time?

I agree that we all have to draw our own lines somewhere. I usually draw mine at the safe vs unsafe line. But let's say you already had a solder bench set-up from another project and all the parts you needed right there? At that point, is an hour's work really that much? Especially if you're like me and often do things at hours when stores are not open.

I just finished rewiring the neighbors 81 shovelhead
The previous owner took it apart with a pair of side cuts.

The soldering station is in the bottom of the tool box for the next month at least
