    wireless speed

    my main pc is on 2nd floor with the router and modem and the second pc in the basement in a dead corner, I look at the connection and never was 100% usual 1s around 60%. I am loosing speed with only that connection ? Is it better if i bring a a wire down to the second pc ? thanks . gefeiora

    Are the machines actually networked (sharing files, printers, etc) or are you just sharing an internet connection?

    What is the speed of your connection?

    thanks MJC. my cable is 128 modem. Right now shows on PCI card 48% and speed 36Mbps gefeiora
