DIRECTX Error Message Couldn't Flip

I get this error message precisely 5 minutes after I start playing the Project IGI Game. I have never had this issue with Windows XP that used an older version of DirectX.

i'm having the same problem with project igi
my os is windows 7 (beta version 7057)
directx 9
video drivers uptodate....(NVIDIA version for windows 7)

Well, make sure your directx is up to date, W7 should be using DX11 actually, which is weird becasue when i dl'd the beta in it's early stages it came pre-updated to DX11. Secondly, try the little trick of Right click -> Properties -> compatibility mode and select Windows XP service pack 2 from the drop list. That was ALWAYS an issue with older games and vista so I'm going to assume that might be a problem with W7 in your case as well.
