1. "No signs the Post is starting "
(a) No LED's blinking?
e.g. on drives?
Or on the keyboard?
This would suggest the POST isn't running.
(b)To test whether the POST really isn't running...
And to see whether it can be got to run...
Ideally with the mobo out of the case on a non-conducting surface...
PSU, mobo, CPU+heatsink+fan, internal speaker
You might want to disconnect the on-switch from the pins on the mobo and momentarily short those with a screwdriver to get the PC to start up.
(c) If the above succeeds in making the POST start, run, test, warn...
And provided the internal speaker is functioning...
You should hear warning beeps generated when the 1st RAM test fails [because there are no RAM modules in place].
2. "my hard drive red light is constantly on"
With the HDD disconnected as above for the time being, that problem [with the HDD controller?] should no longer appear.
We may need to look at that again in the future if/when you re-connect the HDD.
3. "as is my green lite on the floppy drive (no floppy inserted)"
Similar answer as 2 above.
4. "no beeps"
That could be due to either...
(a) The POST doesn't even begin. [Let's see what happens with 1b above]
(b) The POST begins, but halts at some failed test that is designed/manufactured to not generate a beep. [Let's see what happens with 1b above]
5. "monitor works and receiving power"
So the problem isn't with the monitor.
6. "there is no signal from my graphics card"
Probably the POST never gets to the point where the video card is successfully initialised. Either a test is failing prior to the point where the video is initialised, or else the POST doesn't start or run.
7. "Ask if connection is made (it is)"
So you believe there is a good connection made from the video card outlet socket all the way in to the monitor.
Again, probably the problem is as noted in 6 above.
