    Upgradeing....Kinda big...Help please

I would like to find a excellent mobo for around $200 I was looking at http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813188026
But I read some bad reviews about it and I don't really know where to turn for help.

    My new system will be:
E8400 Intel Core 2 Duo Wolfdale
Corsair Dominator 2GB (Timings 5-5-5-15 1066 clock speed)
XFX Nivida 9800 GTX Black Edition
and a new MoBo but I don't know what would be good with the above items ^^
Any help would be greatly appreciated! Please try and find a good one around 180-200 US Dollars.

    Thanks!

    Warm

Ok all of that looks ok but..

if you change to an (ATI) HD 4870 you will have 20/30% better performance for the same price. If you decide to get that i would recommend getting a X48 chipset so you can crossfire in the future, if your budget cant stretch that far get this it will serve you fine and is a good stable MOBO

    Have you thought about PSU?

Yes I currently have one installed it's a 500W Thermaltake but once i get my other 9800 GTX black I will buy a 700-750W PSU

So you would recommend the Deluxe with the current set up I have now? Or with the ATI set up that you recommended?

and sorry I was very bored lol

well, the advantage of having the Nvidia MOBO with the 9800GTX is you have the option of SLI in the future. But if you get a ATI card and a Nvidia MOBO there is no point really (unless you are a serous overlockers).

But the disadvantage of a P45/35 MOBO is they dont have the option of CF so you really have to go out and buy the X48 chipset for the option of CF.

At the moment ATI currently offers best bang for buck and performance but Nvidia still owns the top end with the GTX 280. So my advice is get a X48 MOBO and buy a HD 4870 and then CF if you want in the future, but if you sure you dont want to CF then get the cheaper P45
