Need to remove MS antispyware 2009

Read an old post but figure there are improvements since then.

I'm currently using Avast and whatever I download to fix this I don't want conflicting anti-virus programs running, done that before.

    System:

    K8N NEO4
    180 Opteron
    3 GB RAM
    Win XP

    Thanks for any help.

    First:

How to run a scan with Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware

Download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware from Here or Here

Double Click mbam-setup.exe to install the application.
    • Make sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
    • If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
    • Once the program has loaded, select "Perform Quick Scan", then click Scan.
    • The scan may take some time to finish,so please be patient.
    • When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
    • Make sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
    • When disinfection is completed, a log will open in Notepad and you may be prompted to Restart. (See Note)
    • The log is automatically saved by MBAM and can be viewed by clicking the Logs tab in MBAM.
    Note:
If MBAM encounters a file that is difficult to remove, you will be presented with 1 of 2 prompts.
Click OK to either and let MBAM proceed with the disinfection process.
If asked to restart the computer, please do so immediately.
    Second:

Now run Combofix...follow the instructions, exactly.

    Please do the following:

    • Download this file - combofix.exe to your Desktop (it needs to be run from the Desktop).
    • Double click combofix.exe & follow the prompts.
    • When finished, it will produce a log for you.

    Note:

Do not mouseclick Combofix's window while it is running. That may cause the program to stall...

    Third:

    IN THE ORDER LISTED BELOW

    • Re-boot the system
    • Post the Combofix Log
    • Post the MBAM log
    • Post a new HJT log
    • Please tell me your country of origin
    • Tell us how the system is running.

    SAS is mediocre,

Please do as I ask, if you want my assistance. If you have run MBAM, please post a log from that program. Just running it in the background does not mean anything.

I'm finally able to sit down to perform said tasks.

I will let you know as soon as it's complete. Something really is running around in here, my history gets filled with sites by the hour but no action on my PC is noticed

    Download the removal tool here.

This is a removal tool I created myself and I also included the source code too.

Appreciate your response, but due to the nature of the problem we:

    A) Do not permit advertising on this site, especially of your own site on your first post.

    B) Unless you have been trained, we do not permit people to post repsonses in malware threads....

    OK,
Can you system restore to a date before the infection?

Did you loose Internet access after you ran MBAM? You would be the first person that I have seen that happen with.

    Please post the MBAM log.

I was sure to hit the "Remove Selected" button, not sure why it posted like that. I will do it again though.

I ran the program again, again I could not access the internet when finished, had to restore once again.

I saved some screenshots to hopefully help, there is not a current log after the fix, at least I couldn't find it, just the original log.

Can you restore to before the infection?
Can you uninstall My Web Search?
