You don't round here. Mods do if they think it merits a delete.

If you ever intend to stick another card in here or overclock more than the RAM, you'll want a beefier PSU.

Not thrilled about your case (and i say this after spending a day in yet another pair of budget dells that shredded my hands in the process). If you're going to build, build from a quality case. A good one will cost considerably more, but it will last you for years...and years...and years.

Is this any better. Its got a lot better reviews. I really dont want to spend to much on a case but i would really like to have some form of random lighing effect. (Just seems more like a gaming computer that way.)

About the PSU would I really need a 650w? I'm quite cluless about how much power i need for my system so i grabed a random central watt amount. I posted this setup on some other forums and know one ever said upgrade the PSU so i just believed it would be fine. I am going to upgrade my to atleast 8gb. Would any higher than 650w be a waste or would it be a good idea to stretch a little thurther just for a backup?

Also about ram. If the motherboard supports DDR3 it won't support DDR2. Is that correct because I have a 1GB DDR2 ram in this comupter. If i could take that and add it to the 4GB's that would be cool.

Also (again) Will windows 7 work on my motherboard. I looked at its spec and noticed it only said vista (which i dont want ever again). I can install windows 7 onto the computer can't I?

Totally agree on the better power supply. Yes it cost more but you are much better off in the long run. 500W is too little for a modern system let alone a gaming system.

DDR3 only. Besides you wouldn't want to throw in an odd number of sticks and lose dual channel mode and decrease the performance of the ram.

Windows 7 will work just fine on your system. The "works with windows vista (or whatever)" thing really doesn't mean anything. It simply states that it was tested with vista and they paid their money to M$ to get the insignia. When it comes to the operating system the important thing is to make sure that all your drivers are available. Which that shouldn't be an issue, pretty much everyone has drivers for 7 now. Well all the major components do anyway.
