    Thanks in advance to all of your inputs!!!
    Is it true that under windows (not sure which one 98 or 2000) some files are not copied when you want to duplicate a slave to another slave (not from a primary to a slave)? Is this also the case in DOS? Once again, thanks for your inputs!!!

    Not if you use a third party program like Norton's Ghost, but in DOS and some degree Win9x, things can get messed up with the long file name business, DOS is limited to the 8.3 format (8 character name 3 letter extension) and if two files/directories end up with the same name the net effect is only one gets copied (usually the wrong one ) or they get combined into some bizarre hybrid that will never work....
