I've been having a problem with Windows restarting every time I turn on my computer. Windows will try to load for about 2 seconds and then it will make this click noise and then automatically restart. I've tried going into safe mode which it won't let me do, basically I can't do anything at all except reinstall Windows which I don't want to do (I have very important files for my website I can't afford to lose.) I've tried using the Windows reboot CD but nothing happens and I don't have a repair CD, not sure if it would make any difference. I also thought I'd buy a new power box since I needed a new one anyway but that was not the answer. Is there anything I can do? This has happened a few months ago, but I was able to go into safe mode and do some virus scans (which turned out to be a virus) and then I had to jump through hoops just to download all kinds of missing drivers. I'd hate to do that again.
