I always block all 3rd Party cookies and blocking them should not affect GMail access (in Chrome anyway).
Be aware that apart from normal cookies there are also persistent cookies.
I had a problem recently with Gmail and finally installed Google Chrome to make it work right. I was using IE7 previously but have been using Chrome since about Nov 4/10.
Today, I ran Spybot Scan and much to my surprise it came up with 5 Problems:
All Browser entries:
4 AdBrite,
6 CasaleMedia
1 DoubleClick
4 Mediaplex
7 Zedo
Spybot scans seldom came up with any problems when I was using IE7.
However, I had changed Cookie settings to allow 3rd party Cookies in my attempt to get Gmail to work properly. So, should I change settings to Not Allow 3rd party Cookies now? I'm thinking that is what I should do.
Your advice please.
Thanks.
