any help would be appreciated. someone suggested to buy this pfsafedoctor and i did and that didn't work

How to run a scan with Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware

Download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware from Here or Here

Double Click mbam-setup.exe to install the application.

• Make sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
• If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
• Once the program has loaded, select "Perform Quick Scan", then click Scan.
• The scan may take some time to finish,so please be patient.
• When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
• Make sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
• When disinfection is completed, a log will open in Notepad and you may be prompted to Restart. (See Note)
• The log is automatically saved by MBAM and can be viewed by clicking the Logs tab in MBAM.

I usually run Malware Bytes twice a week or so, and this Boot.iphar notification has been coming up for over a week now. I'm not sure why it's been so hard to detect and get rid of, but the notification from Norton is still coming up, and Norton cannot remove it.

i ran combofix it rebooted my computer and as soon as it did the norton alert came up about the boot.iphar so apparently it is still on the computer.

does the combofix preparing log report take over 20 mins? its been preparing the log for over 20 mins now

Did Combofix ever finish? I assume combofix knocked it out and Norton took it out of the Combofix quarantine. Please see if you can get the report manually at C:\ComboFix.txt. You may not be totally clean
