I think draft might save ink, but usually it just prints faster.
Hello: Can anyone tell me which is better to use in printing, Draft or Text and what is the difference and does one save on ink over the other? Thanks
I think draft might save ink, but usually it just prints faster.

azzey: Ok, Thanks, I was just curious (oops, who am I kidding, I want to save on ink)!!! LOL !!!
Yes it will save on ink and print much faster. Great for things that the quality doesn't matter. I use draft myself, but for whatever reason PDF's don't like it. It comes out pretty much unreadable in draft mode.

Thanks for letting me know that, if I have any trouble printing I will look into changing it to Text to see if it helps at that time
I just noticed when printing withi firefox/yahoo it will not print (it comes out blank in both draft and text. it did print extremely light from Notepad
Then I switched to just IE 8 yahoo email and it printed in both draft and text just fine.
Anyone know why I cannot print using Firefox/yahoo email???? Thanks
I have my default setting as draft.

Frank Thanks for the reply, but I solved the problem by switching USB Ports and it now prints good.
