Thumbs down Very Bad Pc World Store In London

PC WORLD STORE IN LONDON TOTENHAM COURT RD

The staff are very violent, mostly African in origin and have very bad communication skills.

My boyfriend and me are appalled with this store. We now know that we have been flogged of with factory returns and can’t get our money back.

To makes matters worse, my boyfriend was assaulted by the security guards at this store because he wouldn’t leave without a refund. He now has a heavily bruised leg and a torn ligament behind his knee from where these guys forced him to the ground.

I would like to say that PC world have no respect for their customers at all, the Manger was hiding, he would not come out to give a refund. Even when calling customer services they put me on hold for ages and ages and did not deal with my request.

Do you guys reckon we should take this company to court?

sue their pants off! that's the american way! i doubt you'll get anything for the computer, but if he was really assaulted your bf, you need to file a police report and find a personal injury lawyer ASAP. Open a case, and tell the lawyer "i don't have a doctor, can you recommend one"... the doctor they refer you to will treat you oh so nice.... when he asks you "does this hurt" always answer with a yes

everyone wants to yell at the poor kid who sells the computer, but remember he probably works for minimum wage and has no say in any of the policies of the establishment. you should have put the owner in a headlock.

oh yeah, and,

aren't we technically ALL african in origin

jcnoernberg,
Charlotte_ren is in the UK, so USA laws do not necessarily apply.
Personally I would file a assault complaint with the Metro Police and also sue the hell out of them, regardless of where they are from.

I have in the past had my complaints with this company and this is the steps I took to sort it out. I did recieve satisfaction form them fairly quickly.

Here is the address of their head office, write to register an OFFICIAL complaint. In th eletter state EXACTLY what occured. Also if oyu know (or can find out) the name of the sales assistant put this into the letter as well.

Tell them that you want an official reply from them or you will seek legal advice.

Send the letter by register or recorded post to ensure they have to sign for it. Address it to either the CUSTOMER SERVICES MANAGER or MANAGING DIRECTOR.

Use this address (to start with)
PC World Customer Service
Customer Contact Centre
PO Box 1687
Sheffield
S2 5YA

go right to the lawyer, you'll be better compensated and you'll teach 'em a lesson.

Yes, but time is money. Do you want to spend the time to sue them? Here is the US it can take some time for things like this to sort out. I would definitly file with the cops though. Then write the company and see if they offer you any type of settlment before going to court.
