Need Job

I'm unemployed right now. I have a BS degree in computer information systems management. My forte is Visual BASIC, but I've been out of the IT field since 1999, but my interest in computers has never waned, as I have built my own desktop computers since 1995. Can anyone help me?

Monster.com or Dice.com would probably be a more appropriate venue for a job search.

We don't have the time or the facilities to become a clearinghouse for job postings. Nor do we want the boards to become a glorified 'want ad'...

I have found my last two positions through Careerbuilder.com. Do be warned to use a disposable email addy as you will get spam. Not from the site directly but from the crud that searches the site. This applies to all jobs sites. You will need to be careful and weed through the legitimate offers and the crap. Do a search for any company before you respond to make sure they are legitimate.

You will get everything from promises of getting your resume to all the hot jobs listings to the typical we are a company from overseas that needs you to cash million dollar checks and you get to keep 20% just for doing it for them scams.

Good luck.
