I did the CompTIA Network+ as it was a requirement for my employment position, it is not all that easy ie: a Pass score is 60 of a possible 100.
What type of work position do you want this for?

I want to work in the IT industry and thought this to be a very relevant qualification. So maybe network admin position or something similar.

Network+ is a good cert to have. Most computers are networked in some way, so if you desire a career in IT then Net+ will help to some degree in just about any position.

A+ and Net+ are basic certs that will help you on your way to other paths. If you don't already have A+ that is where I would start. Most companies won't even talk to you unless you have the A+. If you specifically want to get into network admin then Net+ is the ground work for other more specific certs like various Cisco certs.

The logical path for certs is generally thought of as A+/Net+ then on to more specific areas as you desire or your career is leading you.

I think the A+ and Net+ are worth it since some jobs require you to have them. I think alot of people's resumes get passed over by automated resume searches looking for specific things like certs.

Just finished taking the Net+. Passed with a score of 705. Not quite as easy as I thought it would be though.
