windows vista wont load after a power incident

Hi All ,
my pc can not load windows vista or desktop icons , it happened after my neice unplugged the power cable while the pc was on. when i turn on my pc i have 2 choices :start windows normaly or start automatic repair , i start it normaly but wont load windows the green bar which says microsoft configuration keeps moving but windows wont load, .if i choose automatic repair it goes back to the first screen .i tried laast good configuration and safe mode but nothing helps to load windows. i checked the rams, unplugged my hard drive and put it again but nothing works.i downloaded the windows vista recovery disk ISO and i tried to run it but it stops while loading files and it freeze.i used the recovery disk from the manufacturerer but it does not give me a choice to repair windows , after loading files it goes back to the main screen which says, start windows normaly or start automatic repair. can anyone give me some advises amd just a beginner and i dont know how to troubleshooting this stuff. i cant plug my hard drive into another pc because the cables are not the same , this one seems too small cables . Thank you.
