Lightbulb nvidiatnt2 causes computer to hang and turn off

hi! i recently have been experiencing problems with my tnt2 m64 card. it just causes computer to hang at random moments...not at a very alarming rate but nevertheless the computer turns off and then restarts. sometimes it doesnt. when windows xp starts, a message appears that the videocard was not able to draw textures etc etc (im just working on ms word or at times playing games). what do i do? i downloaded the latest driver just yesterday and it still does it (hangs) sometimes.

Relating to the different Posts I've read the TNT2 and Windoz XP
sometimes don't play together well. If you are using the AGP model
the AGP drivers could be somewhat at fault.

Possibly the previous drivers that you were using haven't been
completely un-installed and creating a conflict.

had you removed all drivers (in safe mode) and then installed the new ones from here??

additionally, be sure that XP is allowing you to actually replace the drivers, sometimes you will need to change a setting to allow unsigned (by M$) drivers.
