Hi Everyone ..
In the last few days I've had something strange happen to my monitor. These dark grey lines suddenly showed up out of nowhere. The lines extend outward to the sides of the screen from where either text or opened windows are on the screen. I've done no updates , no new hardware or software. Nothing! One day they weren't there ... the next day they were. I've run diagnostics and they report, "No Problems". Also no conflicts in device manager or with IRQ's. I re-installed the video drivers ... that didn't help. I'm not sure what to check next . System - Dell Demension XPS T750r Monitor is Dell P991 Video card - NVIDIA G Force 256 Anyone have any ideas ?? Thanks Storm |

Check the monitor on another machine...if it still does it then it is time to think about shopping, monitor repairs can cost more than a new one......

Thanks MJC ...
Something I should have mentioned in original post. I noticed when the screen saver starts .. all problems cease. Now , if the monitor is crapping out on me ... wouldn't it show some sort of problem regardless of what is on the screen ?? Storm |
