Distorted Windows sound
I have just installed windows 2000 on my reformatted hard drive, now all my windows associated sounds are distorted, but when I play an audio cd the playback is perfect, can someone please help me out the actual sound is awful.
The soundcard I have is a Creative Ensoniq Audio PCI Cheers

I would suspect that the drivers for the card are not properly installed or the correct version...try updated drivers.
