Question Samtron 77V+EVGA.com Geforce 2 mx400= :(

I purchased a Samtron 77V with my compaq 5310US and a couple months later i purchased a EVGA.com Geforce 2 MX 400 64mb, and while playing cstrike a couple weeks later i noticed an ugly line running down the left hand site of my monitor you may remember my post about it. But i trouble shooted and then i posted on here and i believe it was mjc that said it sounded like a driver issue, so i tried every detonator on the web with no luck, then i realized that everytime i changed refresh rates on the monitor the line would change size and shape and position, so i thought it was an issue with the monitor and refresh rate instability or somthing. I contacted my manufacturer (samsung) and they said that an issue like that is probably a GFX Adapter Problem, i want to get this problem fixed as soon as possible what do you guys think Monitor Problem, or EVGA Geforce MX400 64MB problem???????? Need help!~!!!!!!!!!!!!!! running the king of all the OSes btw XP

Question

just a thought

Do you happen to have non PC speakers or some other device with a magnet in it next to your monitor?

if so, this could be causing that " line " you see-make sure that there are no magnet's or electric motors next to your monitor ( includes tv set being too close ).

Sometimes the latest isn't always the greatest...you may need to play around with several different driver versions until you find one that works...try the latest Detonator series drivers and play around with several versions.

The easiest way to determine if it is an adapter problem is to try the monitor on another machine......
