Toshiba Laptop
i recently bought a Toshiba Tecra 8100 (2nd hand) and am having trouble woth the sound card. i believe that the last owner formatted the hard drive (win 2000) and loaded win 98 onto it. i also believe that when he did this he also lost all of the driver information.
Could someone please help me to find the hardware specifications so that i might be able to download the driver software(s).

Have you tried toshiba.com? You should be able to find all the specs and drivers you need there. I'd try there first, if no luck let us know.
