Post Disc-fragmentation on Toshiba

After only one days use of my new computer I get indications that me disc needs disfragmentation. I used the disfragmentation-program on Windows98, but I think it didnt help so much. Is the program on Windows not good enough ? Should I use another program ?

You should not need to defrag after one day. What makes you think it is necessary?
