Question Filenet install glitch

I'm working a case with a (remote, naturally)Win 95 user on a Corporate LAN. He got Filenet Paragon pushed out to him on SMS, and it seemed to have installed OK, but he got a message about autoexec.bat not having enough space for text insertion. I fixed that, but now the application will not convert Word97 documents from within the (authorized)library to be converted over to the Paragon viewer format. It does everything else. It is supposed to work with everything. I've not yet had any cases on this yet, and can find nothing from TechNet or anywhere. I can't spend hours searching for docs. Anyone aware of any known issues similar to this?
Appreciate any help, need to get the case resolved. Thank you. Mohlman
