Red face Outlook express boots me off

Help! I am able to dial up my ISP, and can surf the internet okay, but whenever I try to open my outlook express to check my email, I get booted offline, and get a message that says that outlook can't get the information it needs to open, and that i should check the properties of the program in dial up networking. Everything SEEMs to be set correctly, but I don't know. Please help. Thanks

Open Outlook Express, go to Tools\Accounts and highlight your connection. Click Properties and click the Connection tab. Make sure it's set either to use the correct connection, or unchecked, which I think lets it use default. Then go to Tools\Options and click the Connection tab. check the box that says "Always ask before changing connections". That might do it...And you might have to switch around to find the workable combination.

Check in Tools and go to Accounts, check the settings there. Highlihgt your account and click Properties In the Connection tab you'll have an option that says "Always connect to this account using", set the correct connection there. Then go to Tools again, and Options. In the Connections tab check the box that says "Always ask before changing connections". Apply and close out, when it asks you to change connections, click use the current connection. Maybe that will do it.
