Post PrestoPageManager4.2

I have an Epson610 scanner recently installed. The supplied software, presto page manager 4.2,has a built in problem known as RTDSK40 error. This causes the pc to freeze when page manager is selected.Newsoft, the software producer, know of this problem and suggest eliminating a virus called CIH as a first step.I didn't have the CIH virus so I still have the problem.Has anybody out there resolved this?

Did some sleuthing around and unfortunately only came up with the same info you already have - it's an unresolved issue that Newsoft can't fix if the CIH virus isn't the culprit. No resolution to the problem seems to be in the immediate offing.

Sorry I couldn't help...
