Post MS Excel - Line Colors

Whilst the color boxes for Fill & Font are OK, the one for Line is greyed out when I try to access it for a wiring diagram I am preparing. As you will appreciate, black is rather confusing where lines cross one another.
The Help file simply says click on the box in the Drawing Toolbar, but no more than that.
Any ideas please on how to resolve this impasse
Thanks in advance and Regards
Ron Braggins

By chance, I have now managed to open all of the boxes and features and no longer have a problem. Thought I would tell you that quickly before wasting anyone's thinking time. But I shall return, no doubt.
Thanks & Regards - Ron Braggins
